About

My namAbout Tara at NaturalPetDistributionBlog.come is Tara Pellegrino, but many people know me as the ‘Shampoo Lady.’  I have been working with dogs since 2001 and have been servicing pet care professionals since 2012.  To say I love dogs and the pet industry is a bit of an understatement!  I am super passionate about both and have developed this blog as a way to help share what I have learned over the years from the true experts in the field.  I was honored to be a lecturer at the Atlanta Pet Fair conferences where I teach groomers the art of running a business.

I graduated from Bryant University with a Marketing and International Studies degree and tried the corporate life for 6 years.  I discovered that what I wanted more than anything else was to work for myself and be surrounded by dogs!  I was an apprentice to a Master Groomer for 1 year, worked at a prestigious vet for 3 years then opened Million Dollar Dog in 2005.  Because of my amazing staff at the spa, I was able to pursue another business opportunity as the Southeast Distributor of the Envirogroom Professional Product line.  Owning eMDD Distribution (est 2012) has given me the opportunity to learn from other pet professionals and to further my understanding of pet products in the market.  I continue to learn every day from these amazing people and wanted to provide a platform for their experiences and intelligence.

In case you are wondering, I still groom 2 days a week.  Grooming is very calming and therapeutic for me.  It also gives me a chance to express my artistic creativity!  The other days I am traveling selling Envirogroom Shampoo!  I personally visit pet care facilities in the Southeast but sell online as well (in case you are interested in trying our stuff!)  So you can say,  I am a bit of a workaholicAbout Natural Pet Distribution Blog and a nerd!  I love reading, astronomy, camping and running 5K’s with my daughter.  If I am not working on my businesses…well, I’m probably sleeping and dreaming of them!

I live with my husband and co-worker Bob, daughter Mia Rose, son Mason and our Beaglette or is he a Basseagle (??) (Bassett-Beagle mix) Wendel.
